This project consists of relocating existing water lines on Hwy 100 from Page Road to just beyond Raines Road. Approximately 4,600 feet of 4-, 8-, and 16-inch water line and various accessories will be relocated. Bids for this project opened on October 11, 2011, with Precision Utilities of Bowling Green, KY offering the lowest base bid of $251,345.00. Construction began in November 2011 and the majority of the work will be complete by February 2012. Additional work will be completed once the road construction is finished. Customer rates will not be affected by this project, as funding will be provided by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. |
